I was born in Wales in 1960 I gained an economics honours degree from the London School of Economics. I trained in the City of London and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1986. I moved from London to KPMG Birmingham and expanded my experience in audit and limited company financial reporting. My wife and I moved to Bude in 1988 just after the birth of our eldest son. We have enjoyed a great life in Cornwall and our second son was born in 1992. My specialisations are in audit, limited company planning, tax enquiries and general tax advice. My time out of the office is spent playing sport in particular football, tennis and golf. I am involved with Flexbury Methodist Church and have been a local preacher and I’m currently involved in the youth work. The Friday night youth club has been home to many youngsters in the area since 1999.
I am also a member of the Bude Rotary Club and have served in the club since 1993 as treasurer community committee chairman and president.
I was born in Somerset and trained in Taunton where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant. After a period working in Bideford I joined Metherell Gard in June 1991. I primarily work with farmers and other family businesses, also specialising in retirement planning. I currently assist the local scouts group as their treasurer and have recently taken up the challenge of learning the tenor sax!
I was born in Stratton in 1978. I attended Stratton Primary School and completed my GCSE’s and A-levels at Budehaven Community School. I joined Metherell Gard in 1997 and qualified as a certified accountant in 2006. My specialisations include farming and solicitors. My time away from the office is spent enjoying sport both playing and watching. I played football for Bude from the age of 11 to 28 and I now play weekly five a side football. I also enjoy tennis and golf. I have recently become the treasurer of Bude Football Club.
