Greg Cook - Director
Born locally in Stratton and having grown up in Bude and Stratton, Greg joined Metherell Gard after completing his A levels. Greg went on to train with the firm gaining experience on the varied clients that the firm has and qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2010. Greg became a director of the firm in 2011. Greg’s experience has been across a diverse range of clients locally and further afield - helping individuals and businesses with their accounting, tax and business management requirements.

Pearl Mead – Director
After training in Taunton with the agricultural partner, Pearl moved to Bideford where she gained further training and experience particularly with the thriving cabinet making industry in the area. She then moved to Bude to join Metherell Gard. Her experience has been with family run businesses both in agricultural and otherwise and helps the owners of the businesses with their business and family goals.

Tom Vigg – Director
Having grown up in Bude Tom moved away and, after a few years in the catering industry as a chef, trained at an accountancy practice just outside of Oxford. There he gained experience in working with start up technology companies, owner managed businesses and also the firm’s larger audit clients. Tom returned to Bude in 2018 to join Metherell Gard before becoming a director in 2021. Tom’s experience and background means he now deals with individuals and businesses from a range of sectors, including advising on property related transactions, R&D tax credits and audit related services. Along with accounting and tax advice Tom works with business owners to help achieve the most from their businesses, helping structure their operations from a financial and management perspective.
